Circus Acts at a Dog Event and Poolside Mansion Party

This week in the world of Grace, she took her talents to a few Vegas local events!

A few weeks ago, Grace was looking to explore around her new home town (Las Vegas, NV,) when she stumbled upon a thrift store named Dog Junkies. While Grace is no stranger to a good thrifting opportunity, there is something unique about this shop in particular.

Dog Junkies is a part of a program called A Home 4 Spot that started in 2009 and has saved over 6,500 local dogs from being euthanized. All proceeds from their sales of their vintage goods goes towards helping to support dogs in rescue.

Since Grace is a talker, she found out this information quite quickly. She also went a step further (while buying a unicorn kitten poster for her room,) to ask if they were having any events in the near future. She was in luck!

On Saturday May 23rd Dog Junkies held their very first Stuff Your Face Event. Not only were they selling delicious foods, but they had a 50% off store wide sale. As an animal lover, Grace saw this as the perfect opportunity to surprise the guests with a pop up performance.

The crowd, and the "doggos," as Grace would say, watched as Grace and special guest Antonio Restivo (who has been working in fire shows around Vegas for decades and made it to the semi-finals on season 5 of “America’s Got Talent”,) performed. While Antonio took a majority of the fire part, Grace focused mostly on what she started with, Hula Hoops.

Believe it or not, this was just the start of Grace's day on Saturday.

After an exciting morning, Grace went to a private event for a Las Vegas mansion party. This is where she let her fiery side show. She brought her dragon staff, fire hoops, and fire fans for a beautiful and elegant poolside performance. Grace dazzled the crowd with her fire tricks and even had Antonio come to help out.

This is a pretty typical day for Grace back in Nashville, but having this moment in a new environment (Las Vegas) with her roommate back home and her boyfriend on tour she realized there is comfort in being by yourself. Excited but alone, Grace took the rest of the night off to reflect on her success so far in Vegas and celebrated her day by making a healthy dinner and watching some inspiring documentaries.
