Highlights from "Ignite," a Las Vegas Fire Show
Just a short 59-minute drive from the Las Vegas strip, right past the California border, is a hidden gem called Sandy Valley Ranch. The magical oasis primarily used for Weddings, Rodeos and Corporate Events, became the stage for one of the first major circus performances since the Covid-19 pandemic started in March 2020.
“Ignite,” Directed by Sandi Croft, is a relatable circus show based around the trials and tribulations from the last year and a half. From feeling uncertain, to feeling trapped in the house, to having to take risks (even if it was just to get groceries) the acts paint a beautiful and powerful picture for this emotional time.
From the drive through the desert to the scenic ranch setting, the show "Ignite" puts life in perspective in many ways.
Grace Good held a spectacular role as the risk taker. Her ball, most notably seen on the “Go-Big” Show, held center stage for the hula-hooping performance that surely ignited the energy of the crowd and set the stage for the rest of the acts that followed.
Much like her character, Grace has also been one to take risks during the pandemic. In February, she moved across the country leaving her safety net and weekly performances behind to pursue her dreams in Las Vegas. Even during this show Grace had taken risks by battling the elements (mainly strong winds) while balancing on a ball and hula hooping at the same time.
As Axel, the stage director and narrator of the performance said, Grace Good is a "real fireball." And this Fire Ball plans to keep performing in new and unique ways. If you are interested in seeing Grace's upcoming shows stay tuned because there will be more to come shortly!
